Description
A stunning, authentic piece of mid-century European studio art! This 8.5-inch tapered porcelain/terracotta cabinet vase is handcrafted in Spain. The bottom features a clear, hand-incised signature reading CERAMITA above SPAIN. The piece utilizes a traditional sgraffito technique, pairing a rich, glass-like chocolate brown slip glaze with intricately hand-carved abstract geometric and chevron motifs that expose the raw, matte terracotta-orange clay beneath. A phenomenal decorative accent that complements Southwestern, brutalist, boho, or mid-century studio art pottery collections. Condition: Excellent vintage condition. See pics
