Vintage Gold Triptych Picture Frame w/ Italian Paper Inserts

Vintage three-panel hinged picture frame sourced from an estate sale in Minneapolis, with ornate gold-tone metal framing and deep burgundy velvet backing.  The three inserts are made from beautiful Italian wrapping papers from J. Atelier in Minneapolis, where I worked at the time.  The owner had sourced the papers from Italy herself and kindly let me take some home;  I framed these three patterns together and displayed this exact triptych in my own Minneapolis apartment *see last photo   The hinged construction allows the frame to stand on a tabletop, fold inward, or be displayed on a wall using the hardware I added onto the reverse.  Papers can be kept as shown  or replaced with photographs, artwork, pressed botanicals, etc.  Vintage condition with age-related wear/patina to the metal and velvet backing as pictured.
