This is the Nishimura Orimono Mon Kogata Shuuetsu obi, highly sought after by kimono enthusiasts.
It was very popular among restaurant proprietresses and the like.
First of all, despite being a Hakata obi, it is soft and easy to tie.
As it is a Kogata Hanbuku obi, it tightens well.
And most importantly, the pattern is stylish.
Among Nishimura Orimono's Hanbuku obi, it was the highest priced during the Showa era.
This fish pattern obi is a representative design, and the brown or this Ki-hachijo color were very popular.

The ends appear to have been folded inward when tied, leaving the trademark visible. The condition shows slight faint stains in the two locations shown in the images, and while there is some signs of use, I believe the overall condition is good.
