Vintage Mid-Century Metalcraft Corp "Happy Home" Ornate Picture Frame

Up for sale is a beautiful piece of mid-century Americana. This vintage tabletop photo frame was manufactured by the Metalcraft Corp. for their Happy Home line and sold at F.W. Woolworth Co. dime stores during the 1950s/1960s.  What makes this piece exceptionally rare is that it still retains its original textured paper advertising insert, complete with the vintage Woolworth's satisfaction guarantee branding stamp at the bottom.  Era: Mid-20th Century (Circa 1950s–1960s) Design/Style: Hollywood Regency / Mid-Century Ornate Materials: Die-cast metal frame, glass insert, original cardstock backing Finish: Weathered white lacquer overlay with bright gold-gilded, lacy filigree edges Display: Features a sturdy rear fold-out easel kickstand for tabletop portrait orientation  Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The frame shows a lovely, authentic age-related patina and light distressing to the whitewash finish, which enhances its antique charm. The glass is intact with no chips or cracks.
