This is a vintage sealed box of Jean La Salle Complexion Powder box  Brand History:  Jean La Salle was a cosmetics line introduced in 1925 by the Betty Faye Co, located in New Haven, Connecticut.  Evidence suggests that Jean La Salle compact cases date back to the mid-1930s and 1940s.  Box comes with a small sample, though rust from the staples has likely infiltrated the small package.
