Vintage Navajo Old Pawn Sterling Silver Malachite Concho Belt Handmade
N/A
Vintage 1960s Navajo old pawn concho belt featuring sterling silver conchos set with natural malachite cabochons in a floral/butterfly motif, hand-stamped silver scrollwork surrounding each stone. Black leather belt strap with multiple sliding conchos plus a larger center buckle concho, allowing the belt to be resized/adjusted. Classic mid-century Southwestern silverwork with repoussé detailing and hand-applied stamp accents visible around the border of each piece. A genuine piece of vintage Native American silverwork — over 60 years old and a true collector's item. There are a total of 7 concho pieces including the large belt buckle. The leather on the leather of the belt shows signs of ware reflective of it's age, which adds to the authenticity of the item. Era: 1960s Style: Old pawn, Navajo silverwork Material: Sterling silver (please verify hallmark before listing) with malachite stones Length: approx 38. I would say this fits a size 0 (me) low on the hips and would go up to probably a 4 or 6. Conchos could be placed on a different belt as well. Closure: Leather strap with sliding concho pieces Condition: Vintage — please note any tarnish, stone wear, or leather condition Please verify sterling hallmark and silver weight before finalizing price My dad bought this for my mom who is a huge collector of Navajo turquoise jewelry over 50 years ago. Is a gorgeous statement piece. but I haven't really worn it much in years- time for a home with someone appreciates it!
