Make your rice even more delicious! Shallow rice container, wooden, Nittaru craft, natural cedar

I purchased this to serve my son's family a delicious meal when they visit during New Year's, Obon, and other holidays. However, because it's a bit of a hassle to maintain, I've barely used it since purchasing it. That said, as you can see in the photos, it's a very carefully crafted ohitsu (rice container), and I've enjoyed admiring it from time to time.
I've decided to sell it as part of decluttering, as I don't expect to use it again.

There's a Nittaru (日樽) stamp in the center of the lid, and this product is made by Nakagawa Mokkougei (中川木工芸) of Kyoto, a company famous for its traditional oke (tub/bucket) craftsmanship. The current price for this item seems to be around 50,000 yen.

I believe it's in excellent condition, but it is a used item, so please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned about that.
