For 1010 Only: Odate Magewappa Tray Serving Dish Large Traditional Craft
13.19 $
Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a deep tray made of Magewappa, a traditional craft from Odate.
The item is approximately 30cm in diameter.
As it has not been used, a faint, pleasant scent of Akita cedar emanates from it.
The lacquer inside is also beautiful, with a smooth sheen in vermilion.
There are now fewer craftsmen who make these, and the number available seems to be gradually becoming limited.
This is a valuable item, so how about it for someone who wants it, a collector, or as a gift for someone from abroad?
The outer box has stains and scuffs due to age-related deterioration. If you are concerned, I can wrap it in bubble wrap and send only the main item and instruction manual.
Please feel free to comment with any questions or for price negotiations!
