Purchased in 1984 at Saks Fifth Avenue on Wilshire Blvd. in Beverly Hills, this vintage belt is an authentic Louis Vuitton made exclusively for Saks Fifth Avenue. Babied its entire life and in fabulous condition the belt was worn infrequently on special occasions and always carefully stored. It shows minimal signs of wear and demonstrates the high quality craftsmanship and great longevity that Louis Vuitton products are famous for. All stitching is sturdy and the light gold-tone hardware is bright and shiny with some fine scratches. The leather and monogram canvas show minimal signs of wear. Slight creasing and slight wear to the second and third holes. The leather stay is intact. The entire belt is in extraordinarily good vintage condition. Gold-tone buckle is shiny and fully functional. Several tiny spots on buckle and small amount of tarnish on prong tip.
