【Valuable Item】Lacquerware Rectangular Tray in a Fabric-Lined Box

This is a tray (or perhaps a long plate?) made from Kabazaiku, a specialty product of Akita Prefecture. This particular piece is rare as it is crafted from the bark of old cherry trees.

Compared to regular items, it boasts higher durability and minimal degradation even after many years of use, making it a high-quality product.
Although the exterior of the box shows signs of age, such as stains, the item itself has never been used and is in near-mint condition.
Furthermore, it is a rare piece made from a single piece of wood, featuring a uniform color and a beautiful sheen.

It is a versatile item that can be displayed or used, and we would love to pass it on to someone who appreciates its quality.
