Bamboo Basket (Biku)

Description
Thank you for looking.
This is a Showa-era bamboo basket, a fish creel (biku).
It appears to have been used for storing caught fish or as a tool box. It has been stored in a warehouse for several decades and is a rare item that is hard to find nowadays.
The size is 30cm in height, 20cm in width, and 23cm in depth. There are scratches and dirt due to age, but we believe you can enjoy them as part of the unique charm of a retro item.
We recommend it not only for practical use but also for creating a Japanese atmosphere, store displays, and as props for photography.
Although it has been carefully stored, we are selling it due to decluttering. Thank you for your consideration.
