The Iritate Meijin is a heat-resistant ceramic made with petalite.
[Petalite]
Petalite is a mineral containing lithium and has high heat resistance, allowing for products that can withstand rapid temperature changes.
Its low coefficient of thermal expansion helps to suppress expansion and contraction during heating and cooling, preventing cracks and deformation.
*Products not made with petalite (not heat-resistant ceramic) may crack and break when heated.

*Cannot be used with IH cooktops.
Electric heaters (electric stoves) can be used. Please use with a gas or electric stove.

Each Iritate Meijin is handcrafted and fired by artisans.
There may be small, rounded bumps, and slight unevenness in the glaze, which is a glassy coating.
There may also be slight variations in weight.
Please understand and acknowledge these characteristics of handmade products before purchasing.
