Polyester that looks like pure silk, with a crepe-like texture similar to Toray Silk.

Used, good condition
(There was some stage makeup on the collar, but it has been beautifully cleaned with home laundering.)

Color: Mustard yellow, with a subdued floral pattern in brown and purple tones (lining in deep red/persimmon color).
High-quality polyester that looks like pure silk.
Conveniently washable at home.

This set was together in a tatoushi (paper wrapping) to be worn together on stage, so we are including it as a perfect match.
This is a rare, very large king-size set.
It was worn by stout male actors in popular theater when performing female roles or in comedic skits.
It is said to have been used for roles of mature, subdued characters.
The obi is also quite wide and long, suitable for a larger person.
This is a set that is hard to find.

Even when washed at home, the fabric remains beautiful without wrinkles, just like a Toray Silk lined kimono, and requires no ironing! Easy care.
The obi is pure silk, so it cannot be washed, but it has a very stylish design resembling geometric or Arabic patterns.
