Antique circa 1930s Segal Safety Razor with distinctive gold-tone finish, heavily textured grip, open-comb head, and unusual patented flip/pivot cap blade-loading mechanism. Marked “SEGAL MADE IN U.S.A.” with U.S. patent information underneath the head. Approximately 3 long with a roughly 1.7 wide head. Shows age-related finish loss, tarnish, discoloration, scratches, and patina as pictured. Razor only; no blade, case, or accessories included. Segal’s flip-cap design dates to patents filed in 1929 and issued in 1931.
