USED item
No noticeable damage.
It can be used as a small item case.

*Regarding the puzzle mechanism:
Opening and closing may be a bit stiff and challenging at first,
but it can be used without problems after overcoming the initial difficulty.
Recommended for those who like Japanese modern, retro, and folk crafts.
Also great for collections or as a gift.

However, please note that this is a used item.
Please refrain from purchasing if you are sensitive about condition.

I also sometimes look after dogs at home, so please be aware if you have allergies.

~※Troubleshooting for stiff/difficult opening~
(Quoted from website)

• Remove moisture (dry it out)
It's highly likely that the wood has expanded due to Japan's seasons (especially the rainy season or summer). Storing it in a well-ventilated, shaded area for several days to allow moisture to evaporate may help it move smoothly.
*Absolutely avoid direct sunlight or hot air from a hairdryer, as they can cause cracks or damage.

• Reduce friction (last resort)
If the internal sliding parts are not moving due to friction, applying a very small amount of candle wax (paraffin) to the gaps in the sliding parts may improve smoothness. However, do not apply it to visible areas.

Thank you for your understanding.
