This is a vintage 1970s Jim Beam ruby red glass genie decanter.

The popularity of colored glass genie bottles in the late 1960s and 1970s was heavily driven by popular culture, most notably the television show 'I Dream of Jeannie'. Distillers like Jim Beam capitalized on this aesthetic craze by releasing specialty liquor decanters molded in vibrant hues with exotic, ornate silhouettes. These novelty containers were frequently purchased as holiday gifts or collected as decorative display pieces long after the bourbon was consumed. Crafted from durable pressed glass, these decorative vessels became ubiquitous items in American suburban homes during the mid-century barware boom. The distinct ruby red color paired with textured handles and matching stoppers gave them an opulent appearance despite their mass-produced origins. Today, these vintage promotional bottles are sought after by collectors of retro barware and television memorabilia alike.
