Neural DSP QUAD CORTEX Acrylic Plate Holder and Protective Cover

This is a holder and protective cover for the QUAD CORTEX, made of acrylic.

This product was conceived with the idea of fixing the top acrylic plate (sold by others) by sandwiching it with the main unit, allowing precision equipment like PCs to be handled without direct contact with the main unit, and enabling its use on conventional effector boards.

Made from 0.6mm thick SUS304 stainless steel, weighing 360g, this cover is fabricated using hairline finish material through sheet metal processing.

By utilizing the characteristics of the internally applied elastic rubber seal, the QUAD CORTEX main unit and the acrylic material covering the top are secured without the use of double-sided tape, while also protecting the sides and bottom. The design assumes the use of 2mm thick acrylic plates.

The acrylic plate and the QUAD CORTEX main unit are bent at approximately 89° to ensure a secure hold with tension.

Therefore, when attaching or removing the cover, please slide it on and off slowly and parallelly, ensuring the QUAD CORTEX main unit contacts each surface of the rubber seal inside the cover. Please be careful not to let the main unit hit the stainless steel part during attachment and removal.

Long oval holes have also been provided in the ventilation ports on the sides and bottom of the QUAD CORTEX main unit.

While stainless steel is a robust material, please understand that fingerprints, scratches, and dents may appear with age and use.

Please note that it is unlikely that the unit with the cover attached will fit into the genuine case. Please check this at your own risk.

Clear bumper feet stickers and an alcohol cleaning cloth, which can be optionally attached, are also included.
