80s 90s Vintage‎ Lion Clip On Earrings

Lion clip-on earrings in a silver tone (not actual silver). Design and hatched texture of back point to 80s/90s manufacture.  1 diameter   Some light vintage wear resulting in base metal peeking through the silver tone but no major visual defects. Original vintage padding was wearing down and has been removed and it is ready to wear as is or ready for new padding of the user's choice.  Clip mechanism is highly functional resulting in a secure but not excessively right or painful attachment to ear.  Great at statement jewelry to add to an already Maximalist ensemble, to be the one standout piece in an otherwise minimalist outfit, or to rework as buttons in an upcycling project for a jacket or vest, as a brooch, pin, or cufflinks, or other craft accents.
