Traditional hand-painted Kokeshi doll and 3 other dolls

① Traditional wooden Kokeshi doll with hand-painted designs. Approximately 14cm in height.
Main pair (neck-moving type)
Features: The body is decorated with a landscape painting (five-storied pagoda and a red bridge) and poetry. This was made as a craft item from the Tohoku region, such as **Naruko or Yamagata,** or from tourist destinations.

Mechanism: As shown in the second photo (1000012945.jpg), the head and body are connected by a thin stick, allowing it to be a nodding Kokeshi that can shake and turn its neck.

② Small doll with a base (1000012943.jpg)
Artist/Location: The base is signed 正仁 作 (Seijin Saku), and the lower right is printed with **Minoh Spa Garden.**

Background: This was sold as a souvenir at Minoh Onsen Spa Garden, a famous leisure facility in Osaka. It is a very charming folk art item depicting a child playing with a temari ball.

③ Item in a basket
Features: A Specialty Kokeshi sticker is visible. These were standard items for school trips and sightseeing tours at the time.

2. Value
To conclude, the monetary market value is generally around a few hundred to 1,000 yen per doll, and a few thousand yen for a set.

Antique Value: While works by specific artists (such as deceased artists) among traditional Kokeshi made by traditional craftsmen can fetch tens of thousands of yen, Kokeshi made for tourist souvenirs like these were mass-produced and are not highly rare.

Condition Impact: Looking at the photos, there is yake (discoloration) characteristic of wood and fading of the paint. While this can be seen as a vintage charm, it often results in a negative appraisal in the collector's market.
