Description
A charming set of 4 vintage mushroom mugs from the 1970s, hand-cast from an authentic Arnel's mold. Arnel's, founded in Beaverton, Oregon in 1953, made ceramic molds used in home ceramics classes and craft stores throughout the '70s, which is how pieces like these came to life. Each mug was individually hand-painted with a raised 3D toadstool design in warm brown, green, and yellow glazes, finished with a fun pop of yellow glaze on the interior. Ribbed exterior texture, comfortable handle sized for everyday use. Marked MFC on the base with a hand-incised date. All 4 mugs are in excellent condition, no chips or cracks. About 3.5 inches tall.
