New, unused pure silk fukuro obi, Nishijin Tsume Kaki Hon Tsumugi Ori, 6-way pattern.

The entire obi is woven in a gradient of greige (light grayish-brown).
The raised tsume-tsuzure weaving creates a beautiful item.

This is a high-quality obi, considered the pinnacle of Japanese art weaving, where artisans meticulously weave each weft thread by hand using their fingernails, filed into a saw-like edge, to create the pattern.

As only about 1cm can be woven per day, it takes several months to complete a single obi, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship.

Only the front panel was used for photography.
There is a very faint fold mark on the front panel. It was not used for personal wear.
It is in perfect condition with no flaws.
