Shirai Hanshichi Lid Rest Reed
178.20 $
Description
This is a lid rest by Shirai Hanshichi. I purchased it at an antique shop and used it once for a tea ceremony. It is in good condition, with no cracks or chips.
It is a very beautiful lid rest. It evokes the image of a reed field in early autumn, just beginning to wither. It is decorated with gold accents, but in an elegant manner, with artistic painting that makes you think, As expected of Shirai Hanshichi! When placed on the shelf at the end of the tea preparation, it truly opens up the world.
