Vintage hand-lathed wooden bowl made by the Wolverine Dowel Worksin Grand Rapids, Michigan dates to the 1950’s. Stamped 821 on the base . The small circular indentation right below the model number is the original lathe center point where the wood chunk was mounted to the machine to be spun and carved. Solid wood with a warm honey gloss finish. The clear finish is smooth, without any deep knife gouges, wood splitting, or significant fading to the stamp underneath. Each bowl measures 5.5-6 inches diameter.  These bowls were part of a wooden salad bowl set that included a larger serving bowl. Smoke free home and seller
