Vintage Sears Honeysuckle Baby Layette Set + Infant Shawl Original Boxes

Beautiful set of 2 vintage baby layette items, both unused and preserved in their original boxes.  Honeysuckle Baby Layette Set: Soft ivory/cream knit open-bottom baby gown with delicate embroidered bluebirds and pink floral accents, matching bonnet and booties. Appears approximately newborn–3 month size. Original Honeysuckle box is marked Sears, Roebuck and Co., Made in U.S.A.  Infants’ Shawl: Gorgeous coordinating vintage knit shawl measuring approximately 44” x 50”, featuring delicate pink and green floral embroidery and an elaborate decorative openwork/crochet-style border. Label reads 90% Orlon Acrylic / 10% Rayon, RN 8852. Original box is marked Infants’ Shawl, No. 2203, Color White.  Both pieces appear never used. Originally white, the textiles have aged to a soft, even ivory/cream tone without significant yellowing noted.  Original boxes show age, discoloration, storage wear and residue/label wear as pictured.
