This is a Shozan Nama Tsumugi Nagoya obi with a light beige base, featuring striking deep indigo and refreshing sky blue colors.

The indigo color has shibori (tie-dyeing) and next to it, irises are depicted with fine lines.

It is made with yarn hand-spun from tamamayu (cocoon from two silkworms) produced in Mt. Akagi, Gunma Prefecture.

It has a crisp texture and unique slubs, characterized by high durability and resistance to wrinkling.

It is lightweight, making it perfect for unlined kimonos (hitoe).

It's a good color that blends well with any kimono without being as severe as black.
