I cautiously checked the fit on an inch-diameter pot by only touching the top of the split shaft (without pushing it in), and it appears to be a tight fit. Adjustment of the pot's split shaft may be necessary to install it.

Set of 4 gold volume and tone knobs, with numbers for easy adjustment.
