1940s Vintage Crazy Quilt with Matching Throw Pillow: Novelty Print Fabrics

This quilt is like having a vintage textile museum! Beautiful scraps of fabrics, mostly rayons and satins from the 1930s and 1940s.the designs are just absolutely gorgeous. I wish I had more of them to make a dress. All handstitched handmade has a green satin binding, and a brown satin backing . There is one fabric you will see kind of a slate blue grey that has disintegrated, but it is only in a few spots throughout the quilt. Some of the others have tiny little holes. Reflecting its age, but it’s still a beautiful piece. It also comes with a matching throw pillow. I showed it laid on my bed so you can get a feel for the size the bed shown is a king size bed. The quilt is approximately 98 inches wide is about 41 inches long. A beautiful useful one-of-a-kind piece of history
