Vintage 1950s ARTCRAFT Cat Eye Eyeglasses Rhinestone Aluminum USA 4¼-5½

Authentic Vintage Artcraft Cat-Eye Eyeglasses – Made in USA  Beautiful original mid-century Artcraft cat-eye eyeglass frames featuring a dramatic upswept silhouette, silver-tone aluminum construction, decorative detailing and rhinestone accents at the outer corners.  Temple arms are clearly marked:  “ARTCRAFT 4¼ – 5½ ALUM U.S.A.”  These appear to date to the 1950s–early 1960s and retain their original vintage prescription lenses.  Also included are the vintage floral eyeglass case and an old optical cloth marked Dr. Darl R. Romey, Optometrist, 510 College St., Woodland, Calif. — wonderful period pieces to accompany the frames.  Condition: Pre-owned vintage condition with age-related wear, surface marks, patina/discoloration and wear to the nose pads/temple ends as shown. Rhinestone detailing remains attractive. Prescription lenses are currently installed and would need to be replaced for the new owner’s prescription or desired use.  Frames have not been professionally cleaned, polished, adjusted or restored and are being sold in their found vintage condition.  Please examine all photos carefully for condition and measurements.
