Handmade Bamboo Wood Inlaid Trinket Jewelry Box Geometric Marquetry Boho 6"

Unique handcrafted box featuring an intricate geometric inlay design. The lid is especially striking with concentric rectangular and diamond-shaped patterns created from contrasting light and dark natural wood/bamboo strips/veneer strip inlay. Exact wood species and materials are unknown, as is the age or maker.  This box is very lightweight and has the look and feel of a handmade artisan piece. The exterior has matched decorative strip construction on the lid and sides, giving it an interesting three-dimensional, textured appearance.  Box opens to a simple, clean interior with no lining or hardware. Hinge appears to be made with a textile strip.  This is a great little box for jewelry, keepsakes, small collectibles or as a decorative accent.
