Beautiful and vibrant souvenir ornament from the Li River region, handmade from strips of silk and stitched into colorful embroidered panels. The ball is adorned with red fabric petals, gold beads, and dangling red tassels.  Traditionally known as a Chinese “love ball,” this folk item was used by Zhuang nationality girls to express sincere love and is also considered a symbol of luck.  Includes the original souvenir box, which explains the cultural significance of the ball and its role in traditional celebrations.
