Tea Ceremony Utensil, Hagi Ware Gardenia Fine Mizusashi (Water Jar)
This is a Hagi-ware gardenia-shaped mizusashi (freshwater container). Made by Zuho Ohno.
It was owned by my grandmother for tea ceremony. It is in relatively clean condition, including the box. Upon close inspection, there are shallow, small scratches on the lacquered lid.
Mouth diameter approx. 12cm, height approx. 23cm.
Price negotiation is welcome, thank you.
