Vintage 1983 Council Grove Kansas Santa Fe Trail belt buckle features detailed wagon and frontier imagery on a rectangular pewter-tone plate. The reverse side commemorates the Birthplace of the Santa Fe Trail with historical text regarding the 1825 treaty signed under the Council Oak. This limited edition piece is numbered 301 of 500, marked as the first in a series, and was produced by S&S Buckle Co. for the Council Grove Swim Club.
