★GOTOH PICKUPS was founded in 1966,
A long-established PU manufacturer that has insisted on 100% domestic production since the dawn of the guitar era.
High quality and low prices, with arguably the world's best cost-performance. They have always been highly popular overseas, and it's a mystery why they are not as well-known domestically.
One reason for this seems to be the image that Gotoh Pickups lack distinctiveness.
We've considered why such high-quality products might be perceived this way.
They have been used in standard models of various companies such as TOKAI, FERNANDES, and Fender Japan for a long time, so perhaps we've become accustomed to their sound.
The overall balance is excellent, and they perform well across all frequency ranges,
This might make it difficult to pinpoint the PU's characteristics.
(※In reality, parts and wires that are said to have a distinctive sound in a certain frequency range often just don't perform well in other ranges.)
Sufficient power, excellent overall output balance,
Each model offers a distinctive and easy-to-understand lineup!
These are pickups of such quality that you can confidently choose them when you're unsure what to get!
While many high-end overseas manufacturers now outsource production to Asian countries like China, South Korea, and Indonesia,
Gotoh Pickups have consistently maintained 100% domestic production for years!
Highly recommended!
