Lot/2 Pier 1 Li Bien Reverse Hand-Painted Glass Christmas Ornaments with Boxes

Add a touch of craftsmanship to your holiday tree with this beautiful lot of two authentic, retired Pier 1 Imports Li Bien Christmas ornaments. Li Bien translates to inside, a revered technique dating back over 200 yrs to the Qing Dynasty. Each ornament is painstakingly hand-painted by a master artisan using a delicate, L-shaped brush inserted through a tiny opening at the top of the mouth-blown glass. Because they are reverse painted from the inside out, the exterior glass stays smooth and completely chip-free, ensuring the beautiful artwork remains pristine for generations.
