Neck for Stratocaster type, made from good quality straight-grained wood from the 70s (?)

US Size:

#My Auction
Selling at a bargain price because I don't use it.
The headstock shape might be a matter of preference, but I think the elaborate tapered cut is unique.
The included pegs are of the so-called turtle peg type, but I think the home plate-shaped ones look decent.
While component builders might not need it, I'm including a plastic nut just in case (it's not glued on).

Fret wear is around 70%.
The 11th and 12th frets appear to have been replaced, but I've lightly leveled them to match the height.
The rosewood fretboard has also been lightly polished.

The end width is 55.5mm and the height is 24mm, so it should fit standard Stratocaster bodies.
The wood is dense, high-quality straight-grained maple, producing a thick, powerful sound.
Due to the dense grain, I believe it's slightly heavier than average, though I haven't weighed it.
The shape is a C profile, not particularly thin.
The finish on the back of the neck has been removed to eliminate scratches.

Despite this, there are still minor scratches, so please consider it as a project for repair.

If you strip the matching headstock finish and add an original logo, it would be a great-looking neck.
For those looking for a high-quality neck to build an original component guitar, I believe this is much better than necks made from cheap, cross-grained wood from China.

It's priced barely above shipping cost, so why not give it a try?

Thank you for looking.
