Nodate Kago (Portable Tea Ceremony Basket) Drawstring Bag Set
Nodate Kago, Chasen (Tea Whisk), Chawan (Tea Bowl - Osai Rakusai, Akahada Ware)

The drawstring bag is fixed to the basket. The drawstring has a root bamboo toggle.

※※Notes
● The Japanese paper trim on the edge of the basket is deteriorated, though it is not very noticeable when opening and closing the drawstring bag. (Photo 15)
● The metal fitting on the bamboo tube has come off. (Photo 16)
● There are scuffs on the drawstring bag. (Photo 20)

These are items from my mother, who was a tea ceremony instructor. She has retired, so I will be listing them gradually.
I do not have knowledge of tea ceremony, so I am providing information based on Google search results. Please make your decision based on the images.

They appear to have been handled with care, but these are items that have been kept for a long time.
I hope they can be used for practice or lessons.

Thank you for viewing.
