This is a part removed from a Yamaha SG-500, which was produced around 1976-1979.
From a business perspective, parts were likely made as common as possible, so it is conceivable that this part is also common to other models. Based on catalogs and other information, we believe it was commonly installed and used in the following models produced during the same period. (Additionally, it may have been installed and used in other models produced during the same period.)
Aside from the model name engraving, it is a common standard part for SG series models (SG500/SG700/SG100, etc.) produced during the same period. Furthermore, to our knowledge, there appear to have been two types with slightly different sizes and screw hole pitches (① Screw hole pitch: approx. 16mm, approx. 47mm; ② Screw hole pitch: approx. 17mm, approx. 48mm). It seems that the larger one, with the wider screw hole pitch, was likely used in later production models. Screw hole pitch: approx. 14.5mm, approx. 48mm.

The item has been cleaned and polished with abrasive agents before listing, but dirt may not be completely removed. The item was photographed in a shooting box with built-in lighting, but fine scratches were not well captured.
