Antique Sad Iron Set - Colebrookdale "Sensible" Iron & Dover Toy/"Delicate" Iron

Add a perfect touch of authentic primitive Americana to your home with this 2-piece antique cast sad iron set. This beautiful, heavy-duty bundle is ideal for a farmhouse laundry room shelf display, rustic bookends, or vintage doorstops. Colebrookdale Iron Company Sensible Sad Iron: Features the iconic detachable wooden core handle system engineered in Boyertown, PA. The central spring-latch mechanism is still functionally intact with a beautiful aged dark patina. Dover Manufacturing Company Lady Dover Jr. Miniature Toy/Delicates Iron: A highly collectible child-sized variation from the early 1900s. It features its original contoured wood grip showing lovely residual traces of its original vibrant red toy paint. Both pieces show an authentic antique aged finish with localized surface oxidation, minor cosmetic pitting, and expected wood wear consistent with pieces over a century old. Latch mechanics on the Colebrookdale function. Please review all photos as they are part of the description. **Due to the heavy cast iron, this package exceeds 5 lbs with protective packaging. I am personally covering the upgraded shipping label fee out of my earnings so you only pay the standard Poshmark shipping rate at checkout. To ensure these heavy antiques are packed securely and arrive undamaged, no additional items can be bundled with them. #PrimitiveDecor #FarmhouseStyle #RusticAmericana #AntiqueCastIron #VintageToys #CountryCottage #SadIronLot #VintageLaundry #HomeDecor #CastIron
