Vintage: 1910-1926 Depression era 9 - Promotional cookbooks, kitchen mementos Great for movie props, collectors, old school cooks, junk journals, decorations for kitchen history buffs. Etc et. Appreciated by those who love history. As is … typical aging, staple oxidation, folded corners from active use, recipes written in some books. Delicious treasures to have and to hold. These were passed down from my best friend’s family for 120 years. She is in her 80’s; still cooking’. Her treasures were handed to me to pass on to other’s who understand the treasures these mementos are worth. “Still usable.” Great great grandma’s kitchen. Used by the family from one generation to another. Hard to let go of, but it is time for her to pass them on. All the proceeds that come from selling her goldmine … go to missionaries. She is still serving food to Loaves and Fishes, feeding those in need. She is a living storybook.
