• Large round metal / toleware serving tray, lithograph printed - The design is folk-art style: black coffee pot and creamer with red hearts, cup & saucer, sugar bowl, plus a little wrought-iron scroll. The color palette is black, cream, red, and gold trim with a scalloped edge - very MCM kitsch. • Text around the center says in red typewriter-style font: let's kaffee klatch hotten my cup make mine black one or two lumps? Origin / meaning: • Kaffee Klatch is German for coffee gossip — coffee time as social hour. In the 1950s America went crazy for Scandinavian and PA Dutch-inspired kitchenware. In rather good condition considering age. Some surface scratches but otherwise in good antique/vintage condition. Use on your bar cart or coffee table for added convenience and decoration. Colors..
