Up for sale is a charming estate lot of six (6) vintage mid-century ceramic swan salt and pepper shakers. Each piece is stamped MADE IN OCCUPIED JAPAN on the bottom, dating them precisely between 1945 and 1952. These features beautiful, classic post-war Japanese craftsmanship with hand-painted black heads, soft gray/blue textured feather detailing, and a colorful glazed base. Fully stamped Made in Occupied Japan on bases All pieces are structurally sound with no chips, cracks, or flea bites observed. The glaze is bright and intact. Please note that all 6 shakers are missing their bottom cork stoppers. They are being sold exactly as found from a local estate collection.
