Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. Light age-related wear to the gilding may be present.  Beautiful Royal Crown Derby porcelain shell-shaped serving dish featuring an elaborate Imari-style design in rich cobalt blue, iron red, white and extensive gold gilt decoration. The interior is filled with detailed floral, foliage and bird motifs, while the sculpted shell-form handle is accented with delicate gold detailing.  The underside bears the blue Royal Crown Derby-style crowned factory mark. Approx. 9.5 wide including the shell handle, as shown in the measurement photo.
