VINTAGE ST. JOHN Made in Italy Black Monogram Leather Oversized Wallet Gold Hard

Vintage St. John at its BEST — an exceptionally well-preserved Made in Italy oversized wallet featuring St. John’s tonal woven SJ monogram jacquard, genuine black leather and signature polished gold-tone hardware.  The exterior condition is honestly remarkable for a vintage piece. The black monogram textile remains clean, rich and beautifully defined, with the woven SJ pattern crisp across both front and back. Leather trim is smooth and structured with beautiful stitching and minimal age-related wear. The statement oval ST. JOHN • MADE IN ITALY plaque is a standout — bright, elegant and unmistakably St. John.  Open it up and the craftsmanship continues. The substantial black leather interior offers multiple card slots, full-length compartments and a zippered coin section with branded hardware. Even the interior has survived exceptionally well, showing only light surface creasing/scuffs consistent with careful vintage use.  Approximately 5¼” W × 4½” H closed and nearly 12” across fully opened — a substantial, beautifully constructed wallet rather than a petite accessory.  Likely 1990s–early 2000s vintage, from an era when St. John accessories were unapologetically luxe and beautifully made.  Condition: Excellent vintage condition.
