High-cut design for surf fishing, with a structure that prevents sand from entering, and a rubber sole for excellent grip.

Purchased for a surf fishing competition, used about 10 times.
I believe the condition is good.

The white marks on the sole are scratches.
I usually wear a size 26.5-27.0cm, but these shoes are difficult to put on. Because they are designed to keep sand out, the opening is narrow. It is possible to wear them, though.
I have never experienced any chafing.

Shimano Active Surf Shoes

At first glance, they look like simple athletic shoes, but they seem to be designed for mobility and comfort on the surf.

Checking from the top, the opening is made of chloroprene material to prevent sand from entering. After wearing them, they fit snugly against the skin, minimizing sand from entering even when your feet sink into fine surf sand.

They also feature a locking mechanism that keeps the laces tidy and secure. To put them on, pull the laces and move the stopper down to hold them in place. To take them off, press the stopper and move it up to easily loosen them.

The upper is designed for smooth water drainage.

Unlike the waterproof specifications often found in fishing footwear, these are designed to allow water to pass through easily. So, whether it's seawater or rain, they will get wet inside if exposed even a little.
Personally, I dislike getting water inside my shoes, so I try to avoid getting hit by waves as much as possible.

However, they seem to shut out everything other than water almost completely.
They also have excellent breathability, making them perfect for use in the hot and humid summer months!

Finally, the sole is the standard radial sole.
It's described as a lightweight sole with an increased contact area, providing excellent stability and power for casting.
There's no doubt that this sole is highly suitable for common fishing environments like surf and breakwaters.
