What you need for string replacement:
Replacement strings (essential)
Nippers (essential)
Winder
Cloth

Step 1: Cut and remove old strings
Step 2: Secure the ball end to the bridge
Step 3: Install the new strings
Final touch: Stretch the strings

Acoustic Guitar String Replacement Method Summary:
Always loosen the tuning pegs before cutting the strings.
Insert the strings into the bridge after bending them.
Install strings to the appropriate length. Winding around the peg post 2-3 times is best.
