uxcell 1/2-20 UN F Tap and Die Set, 38mm Round Die Stock Handle Wrench with Plastic Handle, High-Speed Steel Machine Thread Tap & Round Die Threading Tool
List Price: ¥5121
Tap & Die Set: 1/2-20 UN F thread tap and round die. 38mm (1-1/2) die stock fits M12-M14 metric die capacity and is adjustable. Suitable for creating or repairing female and male threads. Suitable for general use.
Applications: Used to re-thread existing threads in hard materials like metal or to create new threads in softer materials like plastic. Used for machining mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel, iron, cast iron, alloy steel, hard plastics, etc.
Features: High-speed steel machine tap has high hardness and durability, with excellent wear resistance. Features only the basic substrate without additional coating. The adjustable screw allows the die stock to hold the round die firmly, and the plastic handle design is easy to grip, non-slip, and saves effort.
Ease of Use: Align the die's positioning groove with the central tightening screw of the die wrench, insert the screw into the die's slot, and tighten.
Tips: You need to reverse every 1/4 to 1/2 turn to eject chips from the chip hole. When tapping threads, add appropriate lubricating oil to the cutting edge of the die.
