About a year ago, I received La Bella strings from a family member that had been stored unopened for about 10 to 15 years, and I used them.

After using them for about a year, I put them in a ziplock bag with silica gel and sealed them for storage.
For shipping, I will put them in another ziplock bag and send them via Takkyubin Compact.

I no longer have the original packaging, but these are from a time when the emblem that says 1954 original VINTAGE on the current packaging was a silver foil sticker.

The difference in the strings themselves compared to the current product is that the ball ends are not color-coded.
Also, the current strings are smooth, but these have a dry, smooth feel to the touch, similar to upright bass strings.

These are originally old strings, and I have used them for about a year. However, due to the nature of flatwound strings, they have just started to break in and should still be usable.

The silk is a dull blue, and there is some fraying on the silk of the 1st and 2nd strings.

I had these strings on a Fender Precision Bass.
Since I don't have the La Bella tag, I am listing them under the Fender tag.
