Carstens Tönnieshof Europa 7252-40 West German Pottery Floor Vase MCM 1960s 16"

This large Carstens floor vase is part of the Europa series, introduced in 1967 and produced into the early 1970s. Its warm olive glaze settles into the deeply molded pattern, giving the repeating scrollwork plenty of definition without overwhelming the simple, elongated form. Made in West Germany, the vase is marked 7252-40 on the base, identifying shape 7252 in the 40 cm size, and retains its original gold-and-black Europa label. Measurements: • Height: 16 • Base Width: 4.5 Very good vintage condition with light wear consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The original paper label remains attached with aged clear tape and shows wear from age. At COMAC Collection, each piece is selected for its craftsmanship, design, and enduring character. Vintage objects naturally show signs of age and use, and any notable condition details are described and photographed as accurately as possible. All items come from a smoke-free home.
