Vintage Talk About Good! Le Livre de la Cuisine de Lafayette cookbook published by the Junior League of Lafayette, Louisiana.  Originally copyrighted in 1969, this copy is the 17th printing from December 1981. This classic Louisiana community cookbook features recipes contributed by members of the Lafayette Junior League, their relatives, and friends.  The cookbook celebrates the culinary traditions of the Acadiana region and includes a wide variety of recipes organized with tabbed sections. Its introduction discusses the diverse cultural influences of the Lafayette area, including French, Spanish, German, Scots, Irish, English, West Indian, and Indigenous traditions.  Spiral/comb bound with the distinctive yellow striped cover featuring Louisiana imagery. The cover notes that more than 407,000 copies had been sold.  Condition: Pages and section tabs have yellowing/discoloration. Tabs show wear, bending and creasing. Cover has edge and corner wear, bending, scuffs and other age-related damage. There is writing/scribbling in the upper corner inside the cover. Please review all photos closely as they are part of the condition description.
