Description
Vintage MCM Wood Apple Collapsible Folding Basket Bowl Mid Century Modern Decor Fantastic vintage Mid-Century Modern wooden collapsible apple basket/bowl featuring a clever sculptural design that transforms from a flat apple shape into a dimensional serving or display bowl. Constructed from graduated sections of wood that pivot and drop down to create the open basket. The surrounding frame forms the outline of an apple, complete with a stylized stem and leaf-shaped handle at the top. When opened, the concentric wooden sections create a striking geometric look with plenty of classic MCM character. It can also be folded back together for storage or displayed as a decorative wooden apple. Perfect for holding fruit, wrapped treats, or decorative items, or simply displayed as a piece of vintage kinetic/transforming wood décor. Vintage pre-owned condition with expected age-related wear. Please review all photos carefully for condition and measurements.
